We’re asked a lot: how does a porch session at my home work? Do we get a lot of photos to sort through and look at after the session is complete? What about baby photos? What about newborn babies? Given the current wild climate of the world we have had to be extra resourceful - fortunately this isn’t new to us as we have been shooting on location forever and know how to think on our feet and find the prettiest pockets of light around your home. To that point this West Los Angeles photo shoot is a great example of a newborn session shot entirely outdoors! And not a single adorable snuggle missed - plus look at all that glow! We have the benefit of having the city of Los Angeles as our backdrop - and perhaps often when you think of LA you first think of beaches and sunshine - but we adore Los Angeles because it is so much more. The rich culture of our city imparts a lot of beautiful locations for us to shoot at including incredible vibrant street art, murals and gorgeous graffiti all over Downtown Los Angeles and Venice and East Los Angeles… we’ve been capturing this beautiful family since both of these cuties were little babies! Needless to say we have explored every inch of this city together and it was wonderful to capture them and their sparkle in such unique spots!
