At Shoots & Giggles we create a special bond with each and every one of our families. This is largely due to the nature of our business but also has a lot to do with the nature of our personalities. When we say that we "fall a little in love with each of our clients" we truly mean it, and this family is certainly no exception.
I met Cindy and Jesse when they were first expecting Max and though their pregnancy shoot was a little like a comedy of errors (due largely to the weather and the location) they kept me laughing through the whole session and we not only ended up having a great time but got some pretty amazing photographs in the process. In early December I met up with them again when I photographed the birth of little Max. Even in labor Cindy kept the nurses, the doctor and myself laughing and after what seemed like 3 effortless minutes of pushing, Max Blu was born. This weekend I photographed the three of them together at home and was once again reminded how lucky I am to have such a fulfilling job. Not only do I get to capture the births of babies and photograph them as they grow, but I get to witness the transformation of couples as they become parents for the first time. This family has truly warmed my heart and I look forward to photographing Max over the next year.
